This is a framework contract (2014-2017) that requires the delivery of advisory services to 17 project partner municipalities in Kosovo in the area of Environmental protection, including specifically Waste Management, Solid Waste Management, Waste Water and Water Treatment, Horticulture with a focus on Sylviculture and green areas.
The project encompasses:
- Waste management
- Development of procedures for waste management including
- Conducting technical assessments (e.g. waste production assessments and analysis of waste collection schemes)
- Preparing new or upgrade the existing municipal waste management plans
- Preparing annual action plans and/or service improvement plans
- Support efficient and effective implementation and monitoring of municipal plans
- Efficient collection and transport of waste efficient use of collection equipment and their maintenance
- Expand municipal territorial coverage with provision of waste collection services
- Prevent and address illegal dumping, waste separation, composting and recycling
