Before joining the executive team at RECURA, Ilir served for 10 years with NLB Prishtina Bank (previously Kaza Bank) in various senior positions including bank branch coordinator and chief MIS officer. Ilir has additional extensive banking experience having been engaged as corporate loans and equities officer with Jugobanka in the priod 1984-1999. Mr. Kasneci also worked as a Finance and Accounting Consultant for over 3 years with USAID KBS project, as well as having worked as financial manager for UN WFP and UN FAO programs in Kosovo for 2 years. In addition he has over 10 years’ experience as an independent accountant with various private companies. Mr. Kasneci is a Certified Accountant by SCAAK (member of IFAC) and is very experienced in accounting and auditing issues related to standards for both public entity and private entity financial reporting.

He is very experienced in corporate finance, management and business consultancy, with engagements in performing feasibility studies, developing financial structures and designing financial instruments, equity valuation and M&A processes, business planning, as well as business and management advisory in various sectors. Mr. Kasneci has experience in project management and consultancy on organizational management and development, strategic planning, and institutional capacity building of Government Institutions and different international and local non-governmental organizations.
