She has been working to support the development of the agri-food supply-chains and fostering linkages upstream and downstream the chain in the fruits and vegetables sub-sectors. She has expertise in market research, feasibility studies, product development processes and promotion of local agri-food products of Kosovo. She has been working to promote the private wine sector in Kosovo (2004) and helped small private wineries to upgrade their product’s quality and promote their brands locally.

She has also been directly working with local producers (“VIPA Chips” potato chips producer and “Djathe Rugove” cheese producer) to conduct market analyses, product development and testing, branding and market promotion activities. Her experience extends to collaboration with international financial institutions providing equity funds for business growth and expansion.

Ms. Arënliu supported the Government institutions, mainly the Ministry of Agriculture, in enhancing their institutional capacity to drive sector reforms and align with the EU policies and regulations. She has supervised studies related to the impacts of donor supported projects in agriculture and rural development and supported the Ministry initially in conceptualizing and delivering its rural grant scheme programs in Kosovo.

She teaches Foundations of Public Policy and Environmental Policy at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Kosovo.
