Recura, in cooperation with the PPSE program (Promoting Private Sector Employment) that is financed by the Swiss Development Organization, organized a two-day workshop on the 6th and 7th of September on Firms’ Internal Organization. Participants were small and medium enterprises that operate in Kosovo.

Good corporate governance practices, when properly integrated into a company’s objectives and strategy, allow companies to progress towards achievement of their goals. They bring real benefits to companies while outlining clear structures, processes and frameworks for achieving corporate objectives.

Recura will provide in-house coaching for good governance practices as well as conduct periodic independent corporate governance reviews.

This project with PPSE aims at improving the internal organization of SMEs, an improvement that would snowball into larger benefits at sector level. The content of the services provided and the governance scorecard result from the baseline assessment of the pre-intervention phase that was also conducted by Recura, as local partner of the IFC (International Finance Corporation) during 2015 following active demand in the market.
