RECURA, as part of the Team led by Cardno International Development, will implement the Export-led Growth activity (ELG) in Kosovo for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). RECURA is very happy to be able to join the experienced CARDNO team in implementing the activity over the next five years, helping support sustainable economic growth in Kosovo through the private sector development. The activity promotes resilient and self-sustaining market systems to improve competitiveness at the local, regional and global levels. It will focus on bolstering the emerging market’s critical industries of wood, food processing, and information and communications technology (ICT).

Recura has been active in strategic business advisory in the Western Balkans with a focus on Kosovo over the last 10 years, working with both donors and the private sector in supporting business growth. Our private sector experience covers all active sectors of the economy, including inter alia ICT, agribusiness, renewable energy and energy efficiency, textile, wood processing, health services, wholesale, retail, telecommunications, metals processing, construction materials, real estate, and so on. RECURA has successfully intermediated and solicited over 180 million Euro of investments in the private sector and has supported the growth of its client companies, through various advisory services in corporate finance, financial modelling, financial structuring, business planning, feasibility studies, corporate governance advisory, investment intermediation and merger and acquisition engagements, helping support the creation of several thousand jobs in the process, as well as helping with the establishment and development of some of the largest exporting businesses in Kosovo.

Led by Cardno, under this activity we aim to further increase the impact and growth trajectory for the country even amidst the pandemic challenges, following on with the success of helping these businesses adopt new technologies to stabilize, sustain, and support growth in spite of such dramatic market changes.
