Ibrahim Gjylderen

Public Finance and Governance (PFG) Unit Manager

 

Mr. Ibrahim Gjylderen has over 12 years of demonstrated experience in financial management and good governance in the public sector. Prior to joining Recura, he worked as a senior manager at the National Audit Office of Kosovo, heading audits of budgetary organizations and quality assurance process.  He was engaged in strategic planning, organizational management and organizational development. Ibrahim was also a member of the steering committee for EU PIFC Project in Kosovo and worked as a member of the SCAAK council for one term. He is Certified Auditor for both commercial and public sector, holds CIPFA professional certificate for public accountancy and is trained in ISO 9000 quality management. Ibrahim did the EFB fellowship program and completed traineeship at Supreme Audit Institution of Germany.

He is also knowledgeable and experienced in budget planning, public expenditures and revenues, public procurement, accounting and reporting, internal audit and controls and legislative scrutiny of public finances.

Since October 2016, Ibrahim works for Recura as Public Finance and Governance (PFG) Unit Manager.  He is responsible for managing projects and people under PFG unit. He also provides quality control of the processes and the final products. Currently he is running Demos (Helvetas) project for decentralization and municipal support and USAID AKT project for supporting development of Kosovo Municipalities Own Source Revenues.
