Aferdita Zherka

Ms. Aferdita Zherka holds an MBA degree with focus on Finance and International Business from the Saunders College of Business at RIT in Rochester, New York. Aferdita has over three years of experience in finance and business-related areas. Aferdita has previously worked in in project implementation, strategic planning, and capacity management for several non-governmental organizations and private companies.

Aferdita’s work experience includes her contribution on the implementation of a project aiming to empower women in Kosovo, an initiative funded by CELIM Kosovo, where she operated in the position of the project assistant. During her studies in the US, Aferdita was also a key contributor of several global market research projects focused in different industries. She also worked as a professional intern at the Monroe Housing Authority in Monroe, Louisiana as an accountant, and as a KDI-appointed supervisor at the Municipality of Gjakova, monitoring accountability and transparency.
