Global G.A.P.: STANDARD AND PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION Training
RECURA in partnership with IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, and with support of USAID and the Ministry of Finance of Austria, for the first time in Kosovo organizes an exclusive accredited workshop on integrated farm assurance standard GLOBALG.A.P.
The targeted audience of the training and certification process are professional consultants who have expressed an interest to be certified as Preferred Farm Assurers. For the first time in Kosovo, there is an exclusive opportunity to be certified by GLOBALG.A.P as a Preferred Farm Assurer without the need to leave the country.
Training will be held at the Hotel Sirius on June 3-5, 2015. As noted, due to the nature of the training, the selection of participants has been very strict and in multiple stages. Target audience were professional advisors, as well as experts with experience in Kosovo farms which grow fruits, vegetables, and grains.
GLOBALG.A.P. is the internationally recognized standard for farm production. Our core product is the result of years of intensive research and collaboration with industry experts, producers and retailers around the globe. Our goal is safe and sustainable agricultural production to benefit the farmers, retailers and consumers throughout the world.
GLOBALG.A.P. Certification covers: food safety and traceability, environment (including biodiversity), Workers’ health, safety and welfare, animal welfare, Includes Integrated Crop Management (ICM), Integrated Pest Control (IPC), Quality Management System (QMS), and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
