Responsibilities
• Creating content, including text posts, video and images for use on social media
• Scheduling social media posts using applications such as Facebook, LinkedIn.
• Developing new social media strategies and campaigns
• Collaborating with colleagues from other departments to ensure posts are in line with the activities and events publicized
• Stay up to date with social media trends, technologies, laws, and best practices
• Use Analytical tools to keep track of the performance of the posts and create performance reports
Skills/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in digital communications or related field such as advertising or Journalism
- Previous experience in digital marketing/social media marketing
- Oral and written communication skills
- Excellent internet research skills
- Knowledge of the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and similar
- Knowledge of social media analytics software including Facebook Insights, Google Analytics and Twitter Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance
- Experience with content management systems, word processor applications and image/video editing software
