RECURA Financials is a Kosovan advisory services provider focusing on providing business, financial and management consultancy in Kosovo, Albania and Macedonia. RECURA is staffed by finance, economics, business and management experts, educated in top UK and US business schools, with long Kosovo and international experience. RECURA is registered as a Joint Stock Company in Kosovo and operates regionally. RECURA provides a wide range of tailored consultancy services in to the Private Sector in areas of Corporate finance, Business, Management, Corporate Governance (in partnership with the IFC) and engineering consultancy, as well as Public Sector in Public Financial Management and Governance. RECURA has successfully implemented over 150 projects and services over the last five years for private business, development agencies, government and non-government organizations, where our clients include some of the largest Kosovan and international companies operating in Kosovo and the region, Investment Funds, Development Banks, bi-Lateral Donor Agencies, the National and Local Governments in Kosovo and Technical Assistance project implementers.

The private sector experience covers all active sectors of the economy, including inter alia agribusiness, textile, health, wholesale, retail, telecommunications, metals processing, ICT, construction, electronics, energy. RECURA is the largest consultancy in Kosovo providing specialized advisory services to the private sector. It has successfully intermediated and solicited investments in the private sector from development banks, investment funds and private investors. In the public sector, RECURA has worked with the central and local level authorities in Kosovo for over three years providing advisory on issues covering public financial management, tax and fiscal policy, own source revenues, municipal development planning, sub-municipal governance and representation, active citizen participation, etc.

Through its work with various private sector clients, RECURA has supported the growth of its client companies, through various advisory services in corporate finance, financial modelling, financial structuring, business planning, feasibility studies, corporate governance advisory and merger and acquisition engagements, leading to improved financial and management performance and employment creation. RECURA has a wide experience in all of the active sectors of the economy in Kosovo and in addition has experience in working with clients and projects in Albania and Macedonia. The sector coverage includes financial services sector, agro-processing, IT, Telecommunications, metals processing, wood processing, retail and wholesale, textile, packaging, tourism, services sector, HoReCa, Media, auto industry. Since 2010, RECURA has successfully mediated and supported its clients in generating over 46 Million Euros of direct investments in Kosovo companies.

In its work on public financial management and governance, through various assistance projects working with the central and local government in Kosovo, RECURA has worked with the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Local Government Administration, as well as with 25 various Kosovo Municipalities, including all newly established municipalities. Through continual engagements with the UK DFID, USAID DEMI, Swiss LOGOS projects, RECURA has worked on various areas of PFM and Governance, all with the aim of supporting capacity building efforts of Kosovo institutions. This work has included extensive engagements in public financial management including budgeting at the central and especially municipal level, own source revenues at the municipal level, property tax at both central and municipal level, public services planning and implementation, municipal development plans and sector specific plans, municipal assessments for public financial management and procurement activities, governance at the municipal and sub-municipal levels and increasing public participation in decision making.
